Membership Application & Renewal

Debbie Brown was awarded the Silver Thimble award.  She works tirelessly for all our philanthropic endeavors.  Congratulations Debbie, an award well deserved.

Our new board was sworn in at the October meeting. Thanks to all of them for volunteering.  And thanks to the outgoing board for all their hard work.

Sue was given her president’s quilt, made by her mini group. Thanks for a job well done Sue.  And job well done to the mini group – the quilt is beautiful.

There was a nice turnout on Tuesday for the Vets project. Fourteen quilts were sent to the Gold Star Group for distribution. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun the first Tuesday of every month from 8am to about 1pm at the VA Hospital.

Show and Share once again showed the talent that exists among the membership.  The quilts were amazing.  Please consider bringing in some of your finished quilts to share.  In addition to show and share, the meeting room was decorated with Halloween and fall quilts all made by members.  It made a beautiful backdrop to our installation luncheon.
