There was a nice turnout on Tuesday for the Vets project.  Everyone is welcome to join in the fun the first Tuesday of every month from 8am to about 1pm at the VA Hospital.  The group will be taking December off, but will be looking forward to seeing everyone in January.

 

Show and Share once again showed the talent that exists among the membership.  The quilts were amazing.  Please consider bringing in some of your finished quilts to share.  In addition to show and share, the meeting room was decorated with red, white and blue quilts all made by members.  It was a beautiful salute to all our veterans.

 

Lizz Fields presented her quilting journey, which lead to the creation of Quilting for Community.  The lecture was interesting, and the growth of Quilting for Community remarkable.  For those of you who don’t know about Quilting for Community, please take a moment to check them out on-line at www.quiltingforcommunity.org/
